Job Description

Our client, one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world, is actively looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join their Parts Supply Chain Planning team in Georgetown, KY! This role is hybrid onsite so candidates must be local.


***This is a 1.5 year contract with the opportunity to extend or convert in the future***


The primary responsibility of this Supply Chain Analyst is to execute project management functions such as developing business requirements, developing and executing training, leading user testing activities, and supporting system troubleshooting. This person will support the Parts Supply Chain Planning team’s objective to aid in the development and implementation of regional system solutions for Parts Supply Chain and Demand & Supply functions, specifically but not limited to North American Supply Chain Transformation.


The ideal candidate will have some experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation and automotive industry experience is highly preferred! The team is open to a recent grad with some relevant internship experience.


Responsibilities

  • Schedule development and management
  • Establish and manage KPIs
  • Coordination with Business & IT verticals to support systems integration
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to establish project team priorities
  • Develop and solution user requirements
  • Create user test cases, judgement criteria, and facilitating testing with user groups
  • Business case creation and ROI evaluation
  • Clear organizational hurdles to enable project team productivity
  • Cross-functional collaboration with team members spanning multiple divisions and locations, contractors, parts suppliers, and 3rd party software vendors
  • Project management of Parts Supply Chain systems
  • Train and onboard users including Parts Suppliers


Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Demand & Supply, Internal Logistics, Purchasing, Parts Supply Chain, or Logistics Operations is preferred
  • Business analytics experience (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience leading or working on complex projects
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Must be comfortable with up to 20% travel anywhere in the US
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent technical capabilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or similar degree
