The Job:


As a Warehousing Supervisor, you’ll be part of our team in Hopkinsville working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:


  • Responsible for ensuring adequate resources to achieve timely receipt and delivery of products.
  • Responsible for training new employees and cross-training workforce as needed.
  • Direct supervisor of hourly employees for the shipping department.
  • Manage trucking routes for milk runs and suppliers
  • Ensure housekeeping and 6s initiatives are completed and met for department
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision
  • Ensure compliant processes, enforce and instruct associates with plant safety policies, and participate in proactive measures as well as participate with plant safety committee to maintain a safe work site.
  • Plan and execute activities to deliver objectives that meet or beat plant goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost.
  • Ensure material handling and inventory processes can provide high inventory accuracy, and accurate reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Monitor daily receiving and shipping activities. Ensure product is shipped on time and coordinate expedites with customer service.

  • Must be adaptable to adjust to a constantly changing work environment and competing demands
  • High attention to detail which includes clearing obstacles to expedite delivery performance
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to train/mentor workforce patiently and persistently for continuous improvement
  • Work independently as well as part of a team; drive practical/logical thinking
  • Preferred knowledge of J.D. Edwards and Automatic Data Processing (ADP)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Associates degree or vocational program preferred
