A* Project Superintendent *is responsible for providing management and oversight of all aspects of field operations on a project and works closely with the Project Manager to ensure positive, overall project results. They bring deep knowledge of materials, as well as and how to build and manage all facets of work in the field, including plans, specifications, estimates, schedules, critical path elements and sequencing/phasing of the project. They take a lead role in promoting Elevated Construction Services safety culture and help to ensure that everyone on the project plans for, understands, and practices the highest level of safety performance. To be successful, they must be well organized, have excellent planning and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate their ability to motivate others toward accomplishing the work at hand.
- *Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee multiple large projects and associated foremen and general foremen.Oversee all field operations of assigned projects including scheduling, planning, coordination of subcontractors, allocation of manpower and safety.
- Ensures inspections are scheduled timely by foremen and pre-inspection / pre-pour checklists are completed by foremen.
- Actively participates prior to start of work in the field to develop a Construction Schedule, approach to building the project, site layout and to review the planned submittal schedule.Participates in job handoff meeting and reviews all project documents to fully understand project scope, plans & specs, and budget.
- Provides input to BIM / shop drawing development.
- Prepare and update Precon and Construction Master Schedules in P6.Monitors productivity results and supports foremen to achieve bid production rates and develop improvement plans.
- Tracks all activities and impacts to ensure completion of the project to the expected completion date.Implements all safety requirements on the Project Site. Trains other team members on Hazard Recognition.
- Plans 2-6 weeks ahead for labor, material, and equipment needs and ensures orders are placed timely and only approved materials are utilized.Assigned projects financial, quality, safety, and client relationship.
- Reviews and approves invoices for material / equipment and ensures costs are accurate and coded appropriately.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Negotiated, customer- service based project delivery experience.
- 5 -10+ years of Construction experience in Rough Carpentry, Site Specialties & Div. 10 Specialties within the Bay Area.
- Provides regular feedback to promote personnel development.
- Strong knowledge of ground up construction.Conducts effective meetings.
- Clearly communicates project goals and expectations.
- Always promote the highest level of professionalism and ethics.
- Understands the vision, mission, functions, resources, values, culture, and business strategies of the organization.
- Experience with and thorough knowledge of all trades – based on extensive work in the field. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management is a plus but not required.
- Presents ideas effectively in formal and informal situations.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships to continue and enhance business opportunities.

Salary Range: $175k - $225k
