We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects in Austin, Texas. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Enforce and maintain high safety standards on construction sites, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations and protocols. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Ensure that all construction work meets or exceeds quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and implement necessary corrective measures.
• Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
• Stay updated on local building codes, regulations, and permits, ensuring compliance throughout the construction process.
• Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and maintain project schedules.
• Provide effective leadership and guidance to project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure clear understanding of project goals, progress, and any changes.
• Identify and address project-related issues, obstacles, and conflicts promptly and effectively, implementing appropriate solutions to keep the project on track.
• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, material procurement, and quality control.

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices, with a strong understanding of various trades and their interdependencies.
• Proficient in using construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Proven leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate and manage teams effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and communicate technical information to non-technical individuals.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Thorough understanding of construction site safety protocols and regulations, with a commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
