Job Summary

Responsible for the assisting in the execution of the company’s taxation affairs. Performs calculation of tax liabilities, tax form preparation, and external filing/reporting duties and well as maintaining company tax records. Works with close supervision and develops in own area by performing routine work.

Core Responsibilities

• Liaise with the business unit and finance representatives to obtain information required to prepare tax computations.
• Provide day to day support to tax colleagues to assist with their business unit duties.
• Understand requirements of the compliance cycle based on instructions received and timetable agreed to deliver work in accordance with those requirements.
• Assist with other ad hoc tax compliance work including tax accounting.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Build an understanding and actively use company resources and technology in the compliance progress.
• Build and maintain relationships with colleagues in other offices.
• Prepare the first draft tax computation for business units, take responsibility for ensuring their tax computations are prepared on a timely basis for review by senior colleagues.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Base Pay: $27.00
