About the Role
The Software Development Summer Intern will be working with experienced senior engineers to assist in investigations, perform code reviews, create release packages, update products, perform experiments, test current software, and document software development.
What You Will Do
  • Run unit tests on functions and modules.
  • Read and understand one of the following:
    • C# code structures, and functions.
    • Web Technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS
  • Update design and test documents
  • Work with Object Oriented Programming concepts
  • Web Technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS
  • Run integration tests on full applications.
  • C# code structures, and functions.
  • Setting up audio equipment.
  • Compile software for a desktop and/or mobile applications
What You Need
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later
  • Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in fields of electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent degree.
  • Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and executives.
What is Nice to Have
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess knowledge of basic debugging skills: running debuggers, logging code.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills.
What Makes You Eligible
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Be willing to work in an office in Richardson, TX
  • Must provide full work availability from May 22, 2023, through August 11, 2023 and be able to work 40 hours per week depending on workload
  • Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work.
