Job Description

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Substitute/Instructional Aide (On‐Going)
CAMPUS: Vary STATUS: Temporary POSTING TYPE: Regular posting

Will provide oversight to program students in the instructor’s absence by performing the following tasks: prepare

instructional materials and maintain order and cleanliness in the learning environment; will use observational skills to

remain aware of changes in the behavior and physical condition of students; assist with field trips, transportation and

other activities; other duties as assigned; substitutes will not be responsible for teaching, preparing lesson plans,

developing course syllabi, goals or objectives, or attending staff development training/workshops.

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College seeks to recruit, hire, and retain faculty and staff who display a willingness to support students of

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in a secondary or post‐secondary environment is desirable.

SALARY/BENEFITS
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. This position is part‐time temporary, less than 27 hours per

week, based on student enrollment each term, and do not include benefits or a promise of future full‐time

employment.
