TEACHING SUBSTITUTES

A copy of NYS certification (for certified substitute teachers) must be on file in the Central Office to qualify for payment at the following rates:

Terms: 1 full day = more than four hours

1/2 day = up to and including four hours

Certified Instructors - $125 daily

Non-Certified Instructors - $100 daily

If you apply to be a substitute teacher, fingerprinting will be necessary and will be paid for by the substitute teacher. (Please note, the cost for fingerprinting is the State Education Department processing fee.)
