Structural Engineer Jobs

Duties:

• Collaborate with realtors, contractors, home owners, and architects to develop comprehensive project designs from site visit thru drawing completion
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Prepare and review technical drawings, including plans, sections, and details
• Design and produce sealed plans for structural repair or structural modifications using AutoCad or other 2D drafting software
• Produce a narrative report documenting findings and repair recommendations
• Perform site visit inspections for residential clients who have structural issues with their home or want to make structural modifications to their home. Work from home on drawings and / or narrative reports.

Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Ability to turn jobs around in a timely manner
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
• Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports and documentation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software for drafting and design purposes
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
