Your role.


Your work will include, but not be limited to:


  • Lead practice development through proposals, engagement letters and client relationship building activities.
  • Identify and evaluate complex business and technology issues by developing strategic growth, improvement, and implementation plans.
  • Provide management direction in gathering, organizing and analyzing data.
  • Develop “point of view” and thought leadership content for firm market development, with a particular focus on the automotive industry.
  • Manage project teams by working with others in the firm to develop creative solutions and recommendations for clients including:
  • Effectively execute projects in corporate strategy, market and operational strategies, process improvements, organizational change and other areas of high value add for clients.
  • Support administrative management of practice including team leadership, staff coaching, project economics, including budgets, billing and collection.
  • Assure client deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Ensure projects are aligned to the client’s organizational strategy and responsive to a changing business climate.


The Qualifications.


  • 15 + years of experience in strategy or operations management consulting, either in a management consulting practice, technical consulting firm, or management role in strategy or corporate planning.
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Finance, Economics, Operations, Engineering or related field is required. Advanced degree in Business or related field is preferred.
  • Qualified individuals must either reside in or near the Metro Detroit area or be willing to relocate to the area for this opportunity.
  • Capable of analyzing automotive and manufacturing research data.
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive industry strategy or operating role.
  • Frequent travel throughout the region, with approximately 25% overnight travel. International travel may be required.
  • Proven practice development experience is required.
