Position Summary: The Strategy Analyst will assist with supporting the core objective to achieve sustainable profitable growth through the development and execution of innovative organic and inorganic business strategies. There will be a primary focus on the financial reporting and tracking of operational metrics and process management. This involves analyzing EarthLink’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, as well as identifying trends and market conditions that may impact the organization’s future. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong skills in research, modeling, and communication and must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- Support the development and management of strategic plans, schedules, reports, and other deliverable for leadership
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Responsible for assisting with the development of strategies associated with organic and inorganic growth.
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
- Develop strategies for selling and providing rationale from research to support strategy.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the industry environments to identify or forecast trends and pursue opportunities for future growth.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Analyze business processes and workflows to drive continuous improvement, increased quality, and error reduction across the organization.
- Assist with the business’ growth, productivity, and business objectives.
- Conduct market assessments to include analysis of budgets, buying behaviors, and trends to identify potential market growth opportunities.

· Have a strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives.
· Experience with quantitative and qualitative research and the ability to synthesize and analyze data, draw actionable conclusions and identify trends.
· Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently.
· Demonstrate effective and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and ensure that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
· Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
· Strong financial modeling experience
· Ability to interpret data and formulate a story using analytics and marketing datapoints.
· Must be comfortable in a fast paced, collaborative, and fluid environment.

Education/Experience: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field. At least 3 years of related work experience in strategy, insights, and planning roles. Proven industry experience in business process analysis.
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, Outlook and other generally used business tools.
