Job Description
Scope of Responsibilities Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned task


Job Summary Responsible for ringing out each customer’s purchases while ensuring total customer satisfaction.


Job Duties


  • Assist in identifying and returning outdated or over stocked merchandise to the proper source
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Assist in the implementation of Kinney Standard of Presentation (Merchandising)
  • Accurately package and prepare items for home/business delivery
  • Assist in the inventory management, price marking and merchandising of the check out area and surrounding departments as needed
  • Follow proper procedure for closing out of register at end of shift
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Assist in the ordering of replacement product from the appropriate supplier
  • React to potential shoplifters following company policy
  • Accurately provide change to customers
  • Answer the phone using appropriate greeting and maintaining customer service levels as needed
  • Accurately scan and ring out all customer purchases using POS register including cash, check and charge transactions
  • Assist in the maintenance of general store cleanliness including restrooms, break rooms, backrooms, and entry ways- responsible for daily store standards
  • Offer assistance to customers with large purchases as needed (carry purchases out to their cars)
  • Replenish inventory from in-store stock and in coming orders
  • Perform general housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional and clean check out area
  • Request additional help as needed to maintain appropriate customer service levels
  • Replenish register supplies as needed

Scope of Responsibilities The 340B Program Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, supporting, and optimizing projects related to the 340B program. Participates in the policy and procedure development, maintains internal and external relationships (wholesalers, Covered Entities, and third-party administrator [TPA] vendors) as needed, 340B rules/guidance surveillance, assist in 340B off site audits as necessary, contract management/implementation, reporting/analyzing, and program enhancement/ optimization projects including annual budgeting.


Job Summary The 340B Program Manager engages with leadership and participates in decision-making processes related to the 340B Program. Responsible for working with teams/departments across all divisions to implement/optimize our 340B program. Responsible for interacting with internal and external stakeholders, estimating personnel needs, meeting completion dates, as it relates to areas of responsibilities.


Job Responsibilities


  • Collaborates with Finance to understand problems, define business requirements necessary to resolve.
  • Regularly communicates with all staff involved with the 340B program to ensure that processes remain efficient and to address any problems or suggestions for improvement.
  • Keeps abreast of trends and issues by attending 340B trainings, conferences, and networking with peers.
  • Develops, monitors, and presents reports on the 340B program that document utilization, transaction fee income, problem areas, exceptions, and/or discrepancies to executive leadership.
  • Routinely communicates with management the key performance metrics, improvement actions and any outstanding issues.
  • Routinely communicates any questions, issues, or discrepancies with the appropriate department/divisional team member.
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Responsible for maintaining all 340B contracts. In conjunction with the VP of Managed Care Contracting & Payor Relations/legal department, reviews and negotiates any new 340B contracts and renegotiation of existing transaction fees.
  • Develop and enhance, in collaboration with other departments, new and innovative methods for facilitating the operations and oversight of the 340B program.
  • Continually monitors 340B regulations to ensure federal compliance, staying up to date on all rule changes, including HRSA/OPA, Medicaid and manufacturer changes. Shares all learnings and trends with management and staff.
  • Responsible for providing oversite for the 340B program across all divisions.
  • Responsible for managing all communications and relationships between KPH and all Covered Entities and their designated 340B TPA within the program.
  • Responsible for evaluating all current and future contract pharmacy opportunities, including contract language, fee structure, data setup.
  • Ensure that 340B-related policies and procedures follow state and federal guidelines and are reviewed annually and implemented.
  • Assists in training staff as needed.
  • Complete budgets for the 340B program on an annual basis.
  • Responsible for analyzing capture data and presenting to management for potential new 340B partnerships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher. Preferably with a concentration in Business, Finance or Computer Science.


Experience


  • 340B experience preferred
  • 2-3 or more years’ previous experience in related position
