Job Title: Stock Manager

Department: Inventory

Reports To: Store Manager

Summary:

The Stock Manager is responsible for the overall inventory management of the fashion retailer. This includes tracking inventory levels, ordering new stock, and ensuring that products are properly stored and displayed. The Stock Manager also works with the Store Manager to develop and implement inventory policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Reconcile inventory records to physical counts
• Other duties as assigned
• Train and supervise inventory staff
• Approve purchase orders
• Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms
• Order new stock and ensure that it is delivered on time and in good condition
• Inspect incoming inventory for damage or defects
• Track inventory levels and identify potential shortages
• Develop and implement inventory policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in inventory management in the fashion industry
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
