Summary

The Stakeholder Relations Manager, Healthcare is responsible for raising the profile of our organization in the domestic and international healthcare sector, identifying key stakeholder groups in the government, professional, and corporate sectors, and developing and maintaining meaningful engagement with them. This will include developing, implementing, and monitoring domestic and international engagement and recognition strategies for our high-stakes English language examinations in the healthcare sector in order to substantially increase recognition for our exams and engagement with existing and prospective healthcare institutions and organizations, including government offices, professional boards, recruitment agents, and other enablers and influencers.

Responsibilities*

  • Working in collaboration with the marketing team, plan and execute strategic communication and engagement activities to promote achievements in the healthcare sector. Identify and approve content for social media campaigns, for targeted communications, and press releases related to the healthcare sector. Identify and approve the development of collateral materials and case studies and implement communications and campaigns that address healthcare stakeholders needs and promote success stories. Identify and engage with enablers and influencers in the healthcare sector to jointly implement marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Develop and implement an ambitious domestic and international stakeholder engagement and recognition plan that supports our strategic business plan, supports our mission, and enhances brand and product awareness in current and emerging markets in the healthcare sector
  • In collaboration with the business development and customer service teams, maximize business opportunities in the healthcare sector. Assess and report on the needs and expectations of the different stakeholders in the sector. Work as liaison between external partners and internal teams to propose services, solutions, and improvements to address stakeholder needs and challenges. Identify institutions to recruit as institutional affiliates
  • Other contributions commensurate with level and experience as required (providing general administrative or other support).
  • Represent the organization at domestic and international healthcare conferences and events to raise awareness of our brand and services in the sector and increase recognition of our exams. Identify and propose key annual conferences to participate in and engage with stakeholders. Propose and deliver presentations. Organize and deliver webinars and other events for different stakeholder groups in the healthcare sector.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships, and engage with federal and state government offices, healthcare professional boards, professional organizations, recruitment agencies, credentials evaluators, and other stakeholders, both domestically and internationally, to obtain recognition for our exams and meet annual recognition targets required to support our business strategy. Identify and engage with organizations that regulate, recruit, and hire healthcare professions at local, state, regional, federal, and international levels, including broader stakeholders in international healthcare recruitment, such as agents and channel partners. Onboard new recognizing organizations in the healthcare sector. Analyze and report recognition progress in the healthcare sector results via CRM and other channels. Identify and implement measures to improve results.

Required Qualifications*

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write formal proposals, and give presentations
  • Experience leading stakeholder engagement campaigns and accounts
  • Strong stakeholder focus, including good networking and relationship building
  • Experience managing complex projects involving a variety of stakeholder groups
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Creativity in designing solutions and addressing the markets needs that may differ from one country to another
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or similar field
  • Experience working sales, business development or stakeholder engagement in either the private or governmental sector (healthcare sector a plus)
  • Competency in standard IT and CRM software packages, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce

Desired Qualifications*

  • Running marketing/recognition campaigns
  • Familiar with healthcare policies related to occupational visas for and recruitment of foreign-trained healthcare professionals
  • Experience working with international stakeholders
  • Comfortable with systems, databases
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or healthcare administration
  • Experience working with recruitment agents in the healthcare sector, particularly with international agencies and recruiters
  • Competency in CRM software analytics
  • Successful experience with tenders or grants
  • Intercultural competence
  • Master's degree in healthcare or health administration

Work Locations

This position may be eligible for remote and/or flexible work opportunities at the discretion of the hiring department. Flexible work agreements are reviewed annually and are subject to change dependent on the business needs of the hiring department, throughout the course of employment.

Michigan Language Assessment is seeking candidates located in or around Ann Arbor and supports a fully remote work from home schedule with occasionally scheduled in person activities. Upon request, qualified candidates outside of the Ann Arbor commuting area may be considered.
