Stage Production Coordinator


Seasonal Position for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Event Series


Role Summary


The Stage Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the successful execution for all stage productions and programs on the Susan G. Komen 3-Day event series. This person’s main responsibility is to operate the Q-Lab program for all productions and programs. With Q-Lab, they will build & operate the production and program’s music sets throughout the event. This person will work closely with the Stage Manager, Production Director, Participant Experience Coordinator, Participants that are involved with the production and the Sound and A/V vendor that has been hired to set-up, run and breakdown the stage production equipment.


Role Responsibilities
  • Sunday morning wrap-up of hotel stage
  • 3-Day host & Participant Experience Coordinator to facilitate closing ceremony script
  • Production includes speaking, music and A/V cues
  • Opening Ceremony
  • Production includes speaking, music and A/V cues
  • Breakfast of Champions Ceremony
  • Opening Ceremony Rehearsal
  • Early Friday morning production
  • Friday afternoon/evening programming
  • Welcome last walker into camp
  • Work with the Stage Director and Manager to run a smooth rehearsal
  • Honor Ceremony
  • 3-Day host & Participant Experience Coordinator to facilitate opening ceremony script
  • Welcome last walker into camp
  • Walk-in procession of crew, walkers and Survivors
  • Morning participant stretch
  • Production includes speaking, music and A/V cues
  • Saturday Dining Room Programing
  • Saturday morning program
  • Ceremony honoring 3-Day participants who have passed away from Breast Cancer
  • Sunday afternoon production which consists of:
  • 20-minute program, concluding with walkers heading out on to the route for Day 1
  • Saturday afternoon/evening programs
  • Friday Dining Room Programing
  • Pick up Promise flag from participant signing table and move to stage flagpole and set for the opening ceremony (Rene to train you on this)
  • Guest speaker
  • Participant fundraising awards programming
  • Closing Ceremony
  • Game night
  • Production includes speaking, music and A/V cues

1pm-3:30pm: Ceremony script run through w/music & video wall


3:45pm-5pm: Participant Opening Ceremony

5am: Stage team call time


6am: Site opens; pre-show running

1pm-6pm: Camp opens (Music playing/slides running)


1pm-3pm: Review Friday night and breakfast of champions


6pm (Approx.): Last walker(s) arrives


6:30pm-7:30pm: Friday night game night


8pm: Camp closes; close and secure laptops, etc.


Saturday


5am: Stage team call time; Low/mellow background music begins


6:15am: Breakfast of Champion begins


After walk-out: Honor/closing ceremony rehearsal


1pm–6pm: Camp opens (Music playing/slides running)


6pm (Approx.): Last walker(s) arrives


6pm-7pm: Honor Ceremony


Sunday


8am-12pm: Stage and sound set-up at closing site (Lawn on D)


12pm – last walker: Closing site opens (Music playing/slides running)


4pm (Approx.): Last walker and closing ceremony


Monday


All Day: Travel home
