STAFF RADIOGRAPHER – SIS ST MARY’S DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING St Marys, WV 26170, USA Req #4855 Thursday, August 24, 2023 Status: PRN Hours: Varies as scheduled In an environment of continuous quality improvement, t he Staff Radiographer is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographs. Administers contrast media related to particular diagnostic procedures. Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized radiologic procedures including sterile procedures. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times. Job Requirements: Current radiologic licensure from the State of Ohio Department of Health or if working in WV will need WV license and ARRT registered required BLS certification required Maintains compliance in RQI required. Interpersonal and basic clerical skills and ability to follow instructions Job Functions: Performs radiographic exams utilizing scope of practice for medical imaging as defined by ARRT and ASRT and in compliance with Ohio Department of Health rules. Assures patient safety. Provides patient transportation. Assures patient documentation and patient care. Performs clerical duties. Participates in the educational process of the students of the School of Radiologic Technology. 75% attendance at department meetings. Administers contrast media related to particular diagnostic procedures. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
