Staff Accountant Jobs

Our client is an industry leader in the wholesaling industry and has been very successful for over 25 years. They are looking to bring on a full time Staff Accountant to their team in Beloit! The starting salary is $50-60k (negotiable) and includes full benefits. This fast-paced environment requires the perfect candidate to have excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as experience working with Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks or equivalent software. The successful candidate should be able to type at least 45wpm, be able to pass a basic accounting test, and work efficiently alone or as a team member.
Duties For This Position Include
Assist in the billing and collection of Sales/Use/Tobacco Tax Calculate quarterly royalty payments due to a foreign vendor Assign appropriate tariff codes and file documents with US Customs necessary to import product into the country Cost accounting involved regarding the product that is imported Be a backup for Accounts Payable Assist in the transactions for a second company utilizing QuickBooks Other various tasks as assigned within the accounting department Requirements: Associates Degree in Accounting (or equivalent work experience) Excellent skills using Microsoft Excel Experience working with Dynamics GP a plus Benefits: Health Insurance for Employee and Family $25,000 Life Insurance Policy for Employee Optional Vision, Dental, and Additional Life Insurance available AFLAC Flex Spending Account Paid Holidays and Vacation time Company Matching (3%) Simple IRA
