Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Stacker to join their team. The Stacker is responsible for manually palletizing products according to instructions and production schedules. This position will focus on the safe and efficient movement of products and materials.

Responsibilities:

• Cuts scraps using table saw.
• Palletize products manually according to instructions and production schedules.
• Keeps the stacker area clean and debris free.
• May perform a variety of general labor tasks.
• Ensure that pallets are correctly stacked and strapped down.
• Maintains a safe work environment in accordance with safety procedures.
• Measure the squareness of the cuts, length of the board according to length requirements with a measuring tape.
• Check the quality of the embossing on the board.
• Move product between floor, pallets, conveyors, and/or tables.
• Inspect board with precision for the correct length, shape and corners.
• Follow all work rules and regulations.
• Must wipe down the decking board before going through the embosser.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to perform repetitive and continuous work.
• Must be able to communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner.
• One-year experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and write and perform basic math skills.
• Must be able to work overtime as business needs dictate.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating shift.

Work Environment:

• Inside line work around loud equipment/machinery.
• Indoor facility that is not air-conditioned or heated.

Physical Demands:

• Repetitive motion of the shoulders, arms and hands.
• Pushing/pulling; reaching above, at, and below shoulder level.
• Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending at the waist and neck; grasping (power & simple).
• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Constant standing; twisting of the neck and waist; use of vision.
