JOB MISSION:
The Sr. Visual Merchandising Manager for Global Key Accounts will oversee and conceptualize brand driving visual merchandising strategies for NB’s Key Account doors. This leader responsible for the visual merchandising strategies; working within the Go To Market process to provide sell-in and sell-thru guidelines for various accounts and door clusters. This position sits in the DTC organization based in Boston, and reports into the Director of Omni Visual Merchandising.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist in additional marketing, visual merchandising, and styling projects on an as needed basis.
- Collaborate with merchants, marketing, and wholesale business teams within the GTM process to bring the consumer end in mind into upstream planning.
- Create key account VM communications and tool-kits for strategic key accounts. This includes seasonal brand driving Visual Merchandising guidelines and styling, VM/brand standards, on-going VM feedback, and other departmental communications.
- Create and conceptualize compelling visual merchandising and styling techniques to promote, enhance, and elevate the New Balance product presentations and environments in key account doors.
- Posess and understanding of space planning, visual merchandising standards and the ability to conceptualize a holistic brand experience inclusive of VM and in-store marketing.
- Drive seasonal Visual Merchandising strategies for Key Account doors; oversee seasonal sell-in and sell-thru guidelines
- Manage a team of 3 direct reports
RELATIONSHIPS:
- Develop and nurture partnerships with key players within the global wholesale key account teams; network to promote brand and sales driving VM presentations and enhance opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal partners including merchandising and Marketing to ensure that all corresponding business needs are addressed.
- Assist in additional brand events and special projects.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, SketchUp
- Acute attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills
- Bachelors or equivalent experience in fashion/styling, visual merchandising or retail marketing/management
- Minimum 10 years visual merchandising experience; preferably in a contemporary or athletic brand environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, high visibility environment Strong drive for results; ability to influence all levels in the organization
