Sr It Architect (Azure)

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to assess business requirements and define Azure cloud architecture solutions.

Design and implement Azure-based solutions, ensuring they align with best practices, security guidelines, and scalability requirements.

Lead the migration of on-premises applications and workloads to the Azure cloud, optimizing performance and cost efficiency.

Configure and manage Azure services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and Azure AD.

Integrate Azure services with other cloud technologies and on-premises systems to create hybrid solutions.

Implement security measures and compliance controls to safeguard data and applications within the Azure environment.

Develop and maintain documentation for Azure architecture, deployment guides, and technical specifications.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members on Azure-related projects.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure technologies and industry trends, sharing knowledge with the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as an Azure IT Architect or a similar role, with a strong focus on designing and implementing Azure solutions.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure VMs, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.

Experience in Azure AD, Azure Governance, Azure Security Center, and Azure Policy.

Strong understanding of cloud architecture best practices, governance, and cost optimization.

Demonstrated expertise in cloud migration strategies and tools for moving workloads to Azure.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
