Job Description

This Senior Informatica Developer will perform full life-cycle development, including requirements gathering, software architecture and design, implementation, testing and deployment. This person will also need to help train others on new technology and software, and help with code analysis and reviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex mappings to process various data sources like Flat files, DB2 and Netezza to load into a target database.
  • Create reusable objects like Mapplets, worklets, transformations and user defined functions to use across multiple mappings.
  • Create or update design and systems documentation for developed or modified services or programs
  • Enhance to existing Informatica Big Data applications and mappings that move data between files, Oracle databases and within the Cloudera data lake environments.
  • Create UNIX a shell scripts to run Informatica workflows, updating Parmfiles, sending emails and the FTPing the Files.
  • Debug Mappings to identify performance issues in existing mappings by analyzing the data flow and evaluating transformations
  • Analyze and translate business requirements to technical design.

Requirements:

  • Create make files for execution, fix ksh files as per the code changes resulting from change request.
  • Experience may be gained before or after Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience in designing and developing applications using DB2, Netezza, Oracle, UNIX Shell Scripts, Informatica Workflow, Mapplets, Worklets,
  • Transformations, Cloudera, Tivoli, Toad, Informatica Big Data Management, JIRA, Putty.
  • Requires one year of experience in the job offered, Software Consultant, IT Engineer, or related occupation.
