Honeywell seeks a Sr. Field Service Supervisor to supervise a Field Technician team for the Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) organization. You will apply your leadership skills to improve team performance, ensure engagement in new opportunities for market penetration, team deployment, and sales growth. You will liaise with multiple factions to help prevent and resolve customer problems and explore additional revenue-generating opportunities. The Technical Operations Manager (TOM) will drive and improve metric reporting procedures and own operational metrics, targets, and budgets. You will lead quick and effective closure of any improvement opportunities. The Technical Operations Manager (TOM) will define team expectations and communicate those to stakeholder. You will act as mentor to train and develop future leaders.
The salary for this position is ($72,500 - 108,900). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality of software engineering deliverable are up to the standards. Collaborate with GES for field changes.
- As needed, execute billable work in the assigned region.
- Ensure field scope of work is clearly defined in the proposals to competitively bid to the Standard Work initiative parameters.
- Dispatching technicians and orchestrating the method by which we mobilize our workforce will be a huge component of the role.
- Be the direct people leader of the assigned technical workforce (Regional or District).
- Coordinate with GES leadership for tech resource requirements.
- Identify the resource needs for the region/district and dispatch the skilled workforce accordingly.
- Manage and Identify skill gaps, certifications, utilization & billability to ensure our project backlog is adequately staffed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Help Honeywell be the customer's top choice by improving upon the Customer & Product Support Function.
- Organize and conduct training for the technical resources.
- Collect, develop, and report performance metrics. Partner with Project Managers and Project Manager Leaders to best understand their staffing Requirements (short and long term).
- Drive business growth by enabling and leading a highly effective team, focused on innovation and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other Technical Operation Managers (TOM) throughout North America on staffing requirements.
You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent. Some experience in the field.
- A valid driver's license.
- Prior People Management Experience.
