Responsibilities:

  • Show a genuine love for dogs, ensuring their well-being, comfort, and safety throughout the grooming process.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by bringing an excited and upbeat attitude to work every day.
  • Perform expert grooming services, including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling, catering to dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
  • Interact warmly and professionally with pet owners, understanding their preferences, discussing grooming options, and providing expert advice.
  • Collaborate harmoniously with fellow groomers and team members, fostering a supportive and cooperative work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, ensuring equipment is properly sanitized and in good working condition.
  • Share knowledge, techniques, and best practices with team members to enhance their grooming skills and overall performance.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for learning and professional development, staying updated on the latest grooming trends, products, and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact warmly and professionally with both pet owners and colleagues.
  • Proven experience as a professional dog groomer, with a minimum of 1 years of hands-on grooming experience in a salon or similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of grooming tools, equipment, and products, ensuring their proper usage and maintenance.
  • Passion for dogs and dedication to their well-being, exhibiting patience, compassion, and a gentle approach during the grooming process.
  • Expertise in grooming various dog breeds, including familiarity with specific breed standards and grooming techniques.

Compensation will be depending on experience, but expect a generous range for quality talent. Pay raises are based on reliability and ability to complete tasks efficiently, not on time spent working with us. So bring a good attitude and work ethic, and we are happy to increase pay correspondingly!
