About the Role
  • The position is based in Pleasanton, CA and will need to report into the office 50% of the time. No relocation is provided for this position. Fully remote is not an option.
  • Please note this is a Junior level position
We are looking for an outstanding writer with experience creating content for enterprise software targeted to professional and technical audiences!
  • Learns and applies Workday writing style using a minimalist approach and reviews UI text for consistent tone and style.
  • Works closely with editorial, development, customer support, product management, and services to develop high-quality technical content.
  • Learns and tests product functionality while writing documentation.
  • Drafts, maintains, and edits content for online delivery, release notes and release publications.
About You
We're looking for someone with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, and someone who is analytical with strong attention to detail, who works efficiently in a lively environment, and can quickly prioritize deadlines.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of technical writing experience or equivalent.
Other Qualifications
  • Experience implementing or working with enterprise software preferred.
  • Background in human resources, payroll, finance, or higher education is a plus.
  • Proactive and able to work independently on multiple projects.
  • Proficient knowledge of DITA and XML authoring tools.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $68,000 - $130,400
