Job Description

Our client, Contrast Designworks, an SF Bay Area brand strategy firm is looking for a Sr Art Director to work hybrid or remotely for 5 months.

This position is open to candidates located in the US and legal to work in the US. Only candidates who provide a digital portfolio will be considered.

Pay rate is around 65+ per hour, W2 through Talent Table.

As a Senior Art Director at Contrast DesignWorks, you combine passions for digital innovation, conceptual
thinking, elegant design, and flawless delivery to drive commerce for the world’s leading brands. In this
role, you will establish the conceptual and stylistic direction for the design staff and orchestrate their
work, as well as the work of production artists, photographers, illustrators, printers, and developers.
You’ll solve design problems, craft new solutions, and create engaging experiences across a diverse range
of projects.

Your focus will also be building client relationships and ensuring that all creative deliverables meet client
expectations. You’ll direct other designers, while producing high-quality original design concepts yourself.
Senior Art Directors lead by example. So you’ll inspire, excite, and bring the best out of the designers on
our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understand client goals, requirements, and technical constraints, and work within project

REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 6+ years of experience designing rich, interactive brand, campaign, and ecommerce
experiences. Print experience is a plus.
  • A portfolio that represents a wide range of design styles, diverse and high-profile projects, and

  • An understanding of the possibilities and limitations of digital marketing and web technologies.
Knowledge of mobile platforms and technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Polished client communication/presentation skills, including the ability to sell ideas to varying
audiences.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to rapidly prototype creative concepts is a plus.
