Job Description

Summary:

We are looking for a full-stack Sr. Application Engineer to join our team and help us build the next generation of our web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ReactJS (16.8+) (Typescript), Google Cloud Functions, and Google Firebase. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with Google Cloud and Google Firebase to build scalable and reliable applications.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest ReactJS, Google Cloud, and Google Firebase technologies.
  • Design, develop, and maintain ReactJS (Typescript) web applications.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • 5+ years of experience coding TypeScript for Google Cloud functions (NodeJS).
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • 5+ years of experience with ReactJS / Typescript.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS (including accessibility).
  • Degree in Computer Science or bootcamp certified.
  • Experience with Git, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.


Extra (preferred) Qualifications:

  • Experience with GitLab, including creating, managing, and collaborating on repositories.
  • Experience with MUI React, including using the library's components to build user interfaces.
  • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Functions, including creating, deploying, and managing functions.
  • Experience with React Native, including building mobile applications using React Native.
