SR ACCOUNTANT

Objectives And Responsibilities

• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents and preparing account roll-forwards.
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
• Prepare and review general ledger entries by maintaining records and files, reconciling accounts.
• Identify, research, and explain variances of actual performance to forecast.
• Work with external auditors.
• Provide support to management by providing financial data and ad-hoc reports.

Skills And Qualifications

• Understanding of US GAAP, Reporting, and accounting principles.
• 2 – 5 years’ accounting experience.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining accuracy of information and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business.
• Auditing experience preferred.
• Understanding of international VAT and GST tax collections and filings preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Able to travel when needed.
