Sql/Python Engineer Jobs

Apex Systems is looking to hire a SQL/Python Engineer to assist with several initiatives with a Fortune 500 client. These positions would be a direct hire opportunity and would sit in Charlotte, NC on site, 3 days a week.. If interested, please email [email protected] to apply.

Location: 3 days on site in Charlotte, NC

Rate: $70-73 hr on w2

Duration: $125-$138k dependent upon experience

** We are unable to work c2c or provide sponsorship. Candidates must be able to work on Apex Systems direct w2 without sponsorship. **

You will work closely with business partners aligned with the Quants in the Portfolio Solutions and Enterprise Risk teams to translate business requirements to technology solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Developing and maintain relationships with business partners.
• Work with business partners to translate requirements into actionable stories in technology terms and implement solutions
• Adhere to and implement good SDLC practices including testing, DevoOps pipelines etc
• Participate as a member of an Agile Scrum Team.
• Enhance and support of the existing solutions and platform

Primary Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Python with particular experience using PySpark & Pandas
• Experience in collating and aggregating data from various data sources to produce insights and metrics
• Good understanding of SSRS
• Self-starter with good troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with developing analytical solutions in Azure DataBricks
• Good working knowledge PowerBI
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong experience in using SQL Server including query tuning for large data sets
• Good understanding of Asset Management Industry domain knowledge including the investment lifecycle.
