Sql Database Administrator Jobs

Team members are onsite four days (Mon - Thurs) in our downtown Philadelphia office.

Our content team is looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator to design, build, and support relational databases. They will join one other dedicated DBA as part of a small team charged with care and feeding of a high availability transactional environment.

Role

• Identify performance bottlenecks to optimize database configuration.
• Daily maintenance of the environment including patching, disk space, package management, access control, security, backup/recovery, etc.
• Collaborate with technical teams on data acquisition, consumption, integration, reporting, etc.
• Participate in hardware upgrades or configuration changes.
• Participate in project-related work. Currently we are migrating all databases to SQL 2019 and Azure SQL and upgrading infrastructure and data center capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Exposure to/experience with Azure SQL DB.
• Seeking five plus years of progressive database administration experience on v2016+.
• Windows Server capabilities (Install/Configuration, Authentication, Monitoring, etc.)

The base salary range for this role is $125,125 to $144,375 or the hourly equivalent.
