Job Description
KOMO/KUNS News has an open position for a paid internship focusing on creating multi-platform content with the KOMO Sports team. The 12-week Fall internship will be ideal for candidates who love Pacific Northwest sports and are passionate about storytelling. You’ll work closely with our Sports Director to generate unique and compelling content on the many sports stories and stars of the PNW!
KOMO/KUNS Channel 4 New Internship Requirements:
- Current students, recent graduates and graduate students are eligible.
- Each intern is required to work up to 20 hours per week for 12 weeks.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Students entering their junior or senior year, or a graduate program preferred.
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail are a must.
- Must show internship is approved by University upon hiring.
- Interns are required to work in office at KOMO News in Seattle, WA.

The hourly compensation range for this role is $19.00 to $21.00. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
