What will I do as an employee with Redstone?
As a Spiritual Care Coordinator, supporting the Redstone mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Network with community clergy and congregations and have knowledge of and commitment to the hospice philosophy of care.
• Attend patient care conference and interdisciplinary group meetings as a member of the interdisciplinary group.
• The provision of spiritual care and counseling services to patients and families/caregivers of Redstone@Home either directly or through coordination of care with other spiritual counselors.
• Facilitate the development of an interdisciplinary group plan of care to meet identified spiritual needs and provide consultation, education, and support to the interdisciplinary group on spiritual care.
• Complete timely spiritual assessments and initiation of appropriate services for patients and families/caregivers in the hospice program
• Provide direct spiritual care to patients and families/caregivers.

What do I need for this role with Redstone?

• Graduation from an accredited seminary or school of theology.
• Knowledge of hospice programs (preferred).
• Current/Valid Driver's License in PA with acceptable driving record
• Ordained minister (preferred) in good status with the denomination from which he/she was ordained without restriction or subject to any disciplinary or corrective action.
• Two years' (or more) experience counseling or working with individuals, families and caregivers related to death and dying.
