The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will work under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist. The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will focus on students individual needs as defined by each students Individualized Education Program. The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will obtain licensure in multiple states and serve students across multiple schools.This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required.
Therapists providing direct therapy services should expect a minimum 75% ratio of direct service time to indirect service time. (40 hour work week = 30 hours of direct therapy,10 hours of indirect activities such as IEP meetings, progress reports, scheduling, collaboration, etc.) Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school and time zone. The full-time Speech Language Pathology Assistant may have to work in a time zone other than the one of their residence. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Ensure all speech and language services are provided as determined by the IEP team by: Communicating with parents and teachers to develop a schedule that encourages regular attendance and participation by the studentDeveloping progress reports and other state-specific required special education documentationUsing provided resources to ensure accommodations and modifications for students with disabilities such as assistive technology, supplemental curriculum, and accessible text are made availableMaintains compliance with state, school, and company regulations;Instructs students/families/teachers in the use of appropriate communication strategies and technologies for the purpose of minimizing the adverse educational impact of communication disorders and improving student success in the classroom;Maintains files and/or records using specified systems, e.g., progress reports, activity logs, treatment plans, reports, etc.

Salaries will differ based on these factors, the positions level and expected contribution, and the employees benefits elections.
Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. We anticipate the salary range to be $60,000 to $68,361. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individuals compensation can vary based on several factors.
These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
