Speech Language Pathologist – Full Time - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

As part of our tight-knit team, you’ll have the opportunity to provide outstanding, compassionate care to newborn babies in NewYork-Presbyterian’s Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns.


The NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns is a leader in providing personalized and supportive care. Here you will evaluate, plan and provide feeding, swallowing and communication treatment programs within the neonatal ICU. Strong problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced acute care setting is necessary.


This position will work from 7:30a-3:30p Monday - Friday, including some weekend and holiday coverage.


Preferred Criteria


  • Competency in Modified Barium Swallow studies with the pediatric population
  • Certified Neonatal Therapist
  • 2 years of NICU experience, preferably within a Level IV NICU


Required Criteria


  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Clinical Certificate of Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association
  • New York State licensure
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
