Job Description
Position Overview: The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) is seeking a Full-Time Special Education Teacher to service students at the Millcreek Community Hospital. This teacher will provide Special Education services for students in grades 7
  • Certification in Special Education 7
  • Certification in regular education
  • 12. Required Qualifications:
  • Conducting evaluations to determine eligibility for services

  • Knowledge of various disability categories (i.e. Developmental Delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech and Language) Essential Functions:
  • Providing services as determined through the IEP process
  • Writing Evaluation Reports and Individualized Education Plans for students
  • Developing lessons and teaching children in classrooms
  • 12 Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience utilizing Positive Behavior Supports
