The Spanish Linguist will serve as a natively fluent Spanish language specialist, with a concentration in Central America, supporting web based communications in Tampa, FL. Develops and maintains expertise with designated regional issues and draws upon publicly available online information resources. Reads, analyzes, and drafts communications regarding regional and ideological discussions in Spanish language media environments. Examines current media statements or postings to support trend analysis and identifies key communicators. Demonstrates reading and writing expertise in Spanish and incorporates custom solutions to comprehend online environments and communicate trends effectively. Supports operations planning. Demonstrates knowledge of web based applications, documents activities, takes notes, drafts informative papers, or whitepapers written in English.

What You Will Need

• Select candidates will be language-tested.
• Some travel may be required.
• Ability to work nonstandard hours and in on-call status for periods of time may be required.
• 5+ years' experience required.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Security Requirements

• SECRET clearance required.
