Spa Nail Technician Jobs

Pay Range: $12.00 - $18.00

FUNCTIONS STATEMENT:

• Perform all nail services and as well as reception duties

ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Responsible for performing all nail services including but not limited to applying acrylic nails, polishing, filing, nail art, etc.
• Responsible for insuring all equipment is clean, sanitized and organized after each client booking and at the end of the workday
• Greet clients and perform consultations in a professional manner prior to treatment
• As needed will be responsible for handling reception duties including but not limited to check in/out of clients, daily spa booking requests, confirmation calls for existing appointments
• Advise clients on nail care and use of products

Factor 1: Knowledge required for this position

• Must be knowledgeable about all facets of nail care
• Ability to insure all services and products are charged at the correct price
• Ability to communicate in a professional and respectful manner with clients and co-workers and work as a team player
• Must have cash handling experience and ability to learn methods of processing electronic payments with credit/debit cards, gift certificates and vouchers
• Ability to work with computers and various programs

Factor 2: Supervisory Controls

• Routine work is performed independently following set procedures
• Incumbent is under the direct supervision of the Spa Manager
• The manager assigns work, schedules and advises on changes and is available for assistance when needed

Factor 3: Complexity

• The complexity level of this position is medium and involves decision making, handling front desk duties with multiple distractions, and multitasking

Factor 4: Physical Demands

• Exercises repetitive motions
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping
