Full-time Position ranging from $50k-60K DOE plus benefits.
Located in Santa Fe, NM. Working out of our Inn and Spa Loretto.
Position Purpose: The Spa Manager will be under the direction of the General Manager, and maintain the quality and exceptional guest experience of the property Spa Facilities. The Spa Manager is an essential support to Heritage Hotels & Resorts in creating unforgettable experiences for guests.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Spa staff

  • Work closely with the General Manager on hiring and training of new Spa team members.
  • Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at any of the properties.
  • Supervise inventory system for supplies and equipment and establish reorder levels; keep repair records for equipment.
  • Book guest spa reservations.
  • Communicate repair and maintenance issues to proper channels.
  • Work under the direction of the General Manager.
  • Establish and supervise system of controls to ensure that maximum standards of service are maintained.
  • Maintain treatment rooms and public areas in a clean, comfortable and saleable condition, including front of house areas.
  • Provide suggestions to the General Manager on ways to Improve the marketing and visibility of
  • Test and evaluate cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Participate in staff disciplinary actions and termination when necessary.
  • Research and resolve guest-relations issues and employee matters in a timely manner.
  • Spa/Salon
  • Review occupancy levels and staff labor accordingly.
  • Communicate regularly with front desk staff, service providers and spa attendants regarding job assignments and required timeframe for them and their teams for workflow.
  • Execute payroll.
  • Follow all safety and health regulations including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocol policies.
  • Track lost revenue through Book4Time.
  • Monitor operations to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety and hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate supplies, equipment and purchase orders through Accounting Department.
  • Meet with vendors and contractors to learn about new products and services offered.
  • Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with employees, coworkers, and guests. Exhibit a professional attitude, diplomacy and an ability to handle difficult situations with grace.
  • Review linen inventory and oversee laundry operations.
  • Oversee / Carry out deep cleaning tasks and special projects.
Requirements: Qualifications:
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
  • Friendly and warm demeanor, excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask while maintaining poise.
  • Must be a passionate people person, as this job is highly interactive and requires superb customer service skills.
  • Competent with computer technology to easily learn reservation management system, the point of sale system to process payments, and Microsoft Office Suite for basic document manipulation and printing.
  • Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more.
  • High school diploma, Associates or Bachelors Degree in Hospitality, Business, or equivalent experience/training.
  • 2-3 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; spa or hospitality supervisory experience preferred.
