You Are:

Solutions Architect with experience building enterprise IT solutions around Business and IT operations. The ideal candidate should be an expert solutions architect in the Java and AWS cloud migrations. Candidate should have good experience in defining the overall technical architecture for enterprise and customer platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with technologists to C-level executives is key to be successful in this role.

The Opportunity:

• Create technical solution and architecture, artifacts, work products and presentation of solution with the customer.
• Resolving technical problems as they arise.
• Building and integrating information systems to meet the company’s needs.
• Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
• Drive customer conversations to define the requirements and overall technical architecture and related solutions
• Work with Machine learning experts utilizing pattern recognition, text mining, clustering, and AI
• Review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions
• Deliver architecture recommendations based on requirements and industry best practices

What you need:

• At least 15+ years in IT with at least 6+ years as a Solutions Architect
• Demonstrated functional and technical leadership
• Experience designing, building, testing and releasing software solutions in a complex, large organization
• Experience with RESTful Web Service Design
• JavaScript and Java development experience
• Proactive sharing of accomplishments, knowledge, lessons, and updates across the organization
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills (ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems)
• Demonstrated understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Databases (SQL / NoSQL)
• Experience with Azure, AWS or other Cloud-based PaaS/SaaS environments

Bonus points if:

• 10-15 years of Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design,
• Expert level experience with business and technical applications, Sound knowledge in Multi platform
• Feature Definition You bring:
• Should be well versed with Enterprise integration patterns and experienced in security and performance focused solutions
• Ability to mentor others, lead multiple or large projects and provide troubleshooting support Proficient in one or more design-oriented and functional programming languages
• Hands-on development and code refactoring experience
• Requirements and design, Software architecture and coding, Integration, Testing
• Should be familiar with (Scaled) Agile framework and experience in evolutionary design and development processes

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

Role Location: US Remote

Compensation Range: $165,000-$194,400
