Software Qa Engineer Ii

The Quality Assurance Engineer II will work on a team responsible for full lifecycle testing of ZOLL’s web, mobile, or enterprise applications. In this role, this individual will develop test cases, test plans, and perform manual and automated testing. The candidate will interact with a cross-functional team within ZOLL, from the requirements to the documentation stage. Responsibilities:

• Assist with the diagnosis and resolution of product issues in production environments.
• Submitting and verifying defects
• Create and maintain test plans and test cases
• Participate in all aspects of product delivery, including planning, design, code reviews and cross-platform / cross-browser testing.
• Work with the Product team, stakeholders, UX, QA, and other engineers to create effective solutions
• Contribute to automated testing by mapping, writing methods, and tests under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Black box, white box, and regression testing

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with writing test cases and regression suites
• Communicates openly and honestly and respects the variety of personality styles that make up the team
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix failing tests in CI/CD pipelines
• Demonstrated proficiency in software test automation on web or API platforms
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to use a variety of tools and techniques to determine root cause
• Must be able to write SQL queries
• Strong desire to understand the business problems that our technology is created to solve
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual testing within a software development organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology field or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with Agile development principles
• Java programming language experience preferred

Salary for this position is $100K-$120K base salary annually.
