Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Entry Level Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Patterned Learning, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with limited professional experience in full stack development who are passionate about building innovative software applications and eager to learn and grow in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, modular, and efficient code for both front-end and back-end components
• Design and maintain databases and perform database queries for data retrieval and manipulation
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience
• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain software applications
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure successful project completion
• Implement front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Develop server-side logic and APIs using programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js

Requirements:

• Experience with databases and SQL
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with server-side programming languages (Python, Java, Node.js, etc.)
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong understanding of software development fundamentals
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Firebase, etc.)
• Projects or personal portfolio showcasing your full-stack development skills
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, JUnit, etc.)
• Familiarity with back-end frameworks (Django, Spring, Express, etc.)
• Understanding of web security best practices
