Software Engineer Jobs

Location: Bedford, MA; Hybrid; Remote

This Role:

This position develops the enterprise application(s), maintains, enhances and builds new software solutions for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and repair legacy code
• 3+ years’ relevant experience in software development
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
• Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues
• Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
• Respond promptly and professionally to bug reports
• Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner with no / little assistance from the supervisor
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
• Participate in knowledge-sharing code reviews
• Accomplish development and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Required:

• Must possess hands on technical skills, along with an ability to work independently or under limited supervision & guidance
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
• Ability to solve problems quickly and completely
• Utilizes source control with multiple concurrent branches
• Object-Oriented Programming and design principles
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Should be familiar with version control software (VSS, TFS)
• Possesses a positive attitude and ability to think outside the box
• Advanced C#, Strong ASP.net CORE 2.0 or later, MVC, WCF, JQuery / React / Angular, CSS, ASP.NET, REST API, SOAP, SQL server and Unit test Framework
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Understands and anticipates the possible failures in a growing system and knows how to prevent them

Preferred:

• Healthcare experience / RCM applications knowledge / project experience preferred
