About The Team

Our SDET teams champion Crunchyroll’s goal of delivering high-quality video and rich content to our users on multiple platforms. In addition to devising testing strategies and evaluating feature quality, our quality engineers take part in feature planning and design reviews, to give their ideas and to ensure testability.

About you:

• Meticulous, analytical, and creative problem solver with a passion for quality processes
• 2+ years of Quality Automation or Software Development experience, with a concentrated focus on API Automation experience
• Experience with QA processes, test design strategies, writing test cases and automating tests
• Has developed (Automation) code for 2+ years using Javascript/Typescript or a similar language
• Hands-on experience with Automated testing and frameworks like Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, Suitest, WebdriverIO, ResTest
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Previous knowledge of working with globally distributed teams, and willingness to meet with stakeholders in different time zones
• BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

A day in the life of our SDETs:

• Create and maintain Automated test cases, develop test suites, review and diagnose reported bugs, and ensure the overall quality of services prior to release
• Incorporate automated testing into CI/CD for APIs around Functional, Performance, Scalability, and Stress testing
• Work closely with software development engineers and other QE/SDETs
• Participate in Oncall responsibilities on a rotational basis
• Work with the product architecture/design teams to specify testing requirements
• Reproduce, debug, isolate problems and verify fixes
• Responsible for testing complex web, mobile, and data services

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
