The opportunity:

As a Software Engineer II, you will work on designing, building, and maintaining our embedded lending and payments platform. You will collaborate with an experienced and passionate cross functional team to bring innovative features and functionality to market and drive our platform to new heights.

You will:

• Take point on complex product initiatives and run them to completion with minimal supervision
• Stay on top of the latest technology trends and advancements in the fintech field to keep our platform at the forefront of innovation
• Design, develop, and maintain our lending and payments platform using the latest technologies and programming languages
• Geek out about finance and logistics. (We do this often.)
• Be part of a close-knit engineering team that ships new code into production multiple times a day.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase
• Ensure our platform is performant, scalable, secure and compliant with industry regulations to keep our customer's data safe and accurate

You should have:

• The ability to convey technical ideas in common terms to business partners, product managers, designers, and engineers alike.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• A bias for action. When you see a problem, you solve it.
• Passion for technology and the fintech industry
• Experience building and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems using AWS technologies
• A love of simple, well-tested code that is easy to extend and hard to break.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range displayed, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and / or training.

The US base salary range for this full-time position: (exclusive of bonus, equity and benefits.)

$165,400 - $183,750 USD per year
