Software Engineer - Backend/Api

Description

Robert Half Technology is looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer with strong software engineering techniques and knowledge of design patterns. The Full Stack Software Engineer will be expected to utilize best practices and innovation that results in superior software solutions. To be successful in the role, you should be self-driven, a creative problem solver and eager to collaborate and solve complex problems both on your own and within project teams.
Responsibilities
Design develop document test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications. Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Support maintain and document software functionality. Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation. Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Consult with end-user to prototype refine test and debug programs to meet needs. Conducts routine SDLC tasks as directed.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Java development working on multiple projects and systems.
Experience working with Rest APIs.
Experience working in Spring Springboot.
Demonstrated ability to work on projects of all sizes in a technical environment.
Additonal Preferred Skills
Experience working in Couchbase or other NoSQL databases.
Experience Working In Kafka Or Other Messaging Queues.
Experience working in PostgreSQL MySQL or other RDBMSes.
Experience working in Cucumber or similar TDD tools.
Experience working in Atlassian Stack.
Experience working in AWS technologies.
Experience with Splunk Kanban.
Experience with Software testing frameworks.
