Software Engineer - Angular/Javascript (Remote)

The Software Engineer position reports to the Director of Engineering and is primarily responsible for the development of the modern FusionPro web application. FusionPro is a cloud-based IoT application utilizing Angular, TypeScript, and AWS serverless technology. You will have a unique opportunity to learn about the smart home setup and the configuration of every device. This individual is expected to have some experience with Angular and TypeScript, with knowledge of trending React ecosystem libraries and standards. We rely on agile project methodology and modern SDLC that is including CI/CD. This team welcomes leading innovations and continuously works on platform improvements.

Job Location:

• Build dynamic, data-driven websites and applications
• Conduct regular code reviews, sharing insightful feedback and guidance
• Collaborate with development team to determine appropriate technologies and solutions to unique requirements
• Work independently, creating and adhering to schedules and project plans for their assignments, with constant self-motivation
• Integrate with internal and 3rd-party APIs of different formats

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of source code management systems such as Git, TFS, or SVN
• Experience with unit testing and writing legible, encapsulated code
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 1+ years of software engineering experience or 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience using TypeScript at scale
• Experience with Angular and SASS/CSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and best practices
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Experience with Agile tools JIRA/LeanKit or another Kanban
• Experience in SDLC and agile software development
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL
• Knowledge of API best practices
• Experience working with Linux / Unix operating systems
