Field education is a major educational and professional milestone during graduate education. Students are integrating theoretical knowledge that is learned in the classroom with hands on experience in a clinical practice setting, while specializing in their chosen educational pathway during their Advanced Year. Wayne Health provides a unique and rigorous internship program that provides students with the opportunity to train in a multidisciplinary setting with trainees in various stages of their post grad training. The goal of Wayne Health’s internship program is to prepare highly trained and ethical clinical practioners to provide high quality mental health services to diverse populations to improve mental wellness in the community.
