Social Video Editor (Remote)

Compensation Range: $45 - 50 per hour

Cella is looking for a freelance Social Video Editor for our client, a leader in the sports betting industry. In this role, you will serve as the editor/producer for various organic social projects that appear on the brand's social feeds. You'll collaborate with the Organic Social team to create topical and compelling content across multiple platforms/channels. The ideal candidate must have the willingness to travel if/when required to be in person for a shoot, edit or key meeting.

This is a contract-based role with an initial term of Aug 21 - December 31, 2023.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to daily video-driven needs on social, to develop/edit/produce videos and concepts.
• Partner closely with Creator and Creative Ops Teams for social first assignments.
• Edit social-first content on a daily basis, across sportsbook/fantasy and other social platforms.
• Concept with the Creator social team to develop unique, engaging, on-strategy ideas that are video-driven on social platforms.
• Editing/video creation coming out of production with athletes and key sports moments.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors (required)
• Experience level: Experienced
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically showing expertise working in a Premiere and After Effects workflow, with a strong grasp of Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Extensive Knowledge of Sports Betting.
• Extensive knowledge and mastery of social channel mechanics, best practices, and building engagement (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok).
• Video editing experience for social context is mandatory.
• Experience working in prior social teams is mandatory.
• A portfolio of work that you've edited/created to show video/editing capabilities in a social context, is mandatory.
• 3+ years experience in the social-first world and video editing capacity for social content.
• Ability to work well under pressure and achieve results.
• Ability to shoot video specific to short-form social (DSLR and Cell) and basic sound design is a plus.
• Maximum schedule flexibility is required.
