Titan Solar Power is currently seeking an experienced and driven Video Editor to join our Marketing team.

Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative social media video editor to join our team and collaborate with in-house Titan Media, PR, Executive teams, and outside Sales Partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video project creation, editing, and storytelling, with a focus on creating engaging content for social media platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting videos that resonate with our target audiences, promote our brand, and drive engagement across our social media channels.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with the Creative Manager to brainstorm and storyboard video concepts.
• Input effects, graphics, dialogues, and music into the videos to make them more visually appealing
• Collaborate with Video Production Manager from production to post-production process
• Shoot and edit social-first video content for multiple channels and placements, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and Instagram Stories
• Understanding each clients brand to produce high-quality videos that capture attention and communicate a clear message
• Insert music and necessary sound effects to the video clips
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Monitor all technical aspects of recording and editing
• Prepare rough and final cuts
• Use video editing and animation software, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Inshot to create visually appealing and engaging animated scenes for video projects.
• Manage to work both on-site as well as off-site locations
• Work effectively with the team members
• Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and platform-specific requirements in social media video production, editing, and storytelling.
• Discover and implement new techniques and methods to maximize the companys efficiency

Requirements:

• Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and animation software, such as Adobe After Effects or Canva/Inshot.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous social media video and animation projects and a track record of driving engagement and growth through video content.
• Alternate sitting or standing at will
• Adobe Illustrator (AI)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong understanding of platform-specific requirements, trends, and best practices for creating video content on social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Photoshop (PS)
• Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Crouching or bending
• Knowledge of the filmmaking process (concept, production, editing, and audio mixing) and experience producing polished videos from start to finish
• Able to travel up to 20% of the time

• 2+ years in using the following platforms:

  • Photoshop (PS)

  • Adobe Illustrator (AI)

  • Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro

• Design and create graphics and logos as needed
• Self-taught learner, willing to read and keep up to date on technological changes
