Social Media Specialist


Department: Digital Marketing

Reporting to: Senior, Social Media Manager

Location: Remote / Must live in the north east U.S


Position Summary:

This position will report to the Senior, Social Media Manager, on the Digital Marketing team, a part of Marketing Department. Top-level duties include documenting Trulieve’s corporate social media branding, tonality, and identity across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, live-streaming, recorded video and more.


Responsibilities:

  • Capture daily video content across in-store activations, community events, and physician engagement.
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate action
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Travel: 40-50% in field visits (Northeast U.S)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred: Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or similar
  • Technology proficiency
  • Experience with Sprinklr/Hootsuite/HubSpot/Meltwater or similar
  • Organized, responsible and flexible in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Flexibility of hours – nights and weekends
  • Belief in relationship building and working as part of a team to achieve goals/results
  • 1-3 years of Social media management experience preferred


WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays
  • 40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on business needs.
