Social Media Research Coordinator

Summary: The Social Media Research Coordinator will undertake and oversee the social media check process for prospective hires. The coordinator will ensure consistency in the social media searches for all US offices, escalating concerns to Human Resources.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Partner with human resources (HR) on social media checks that require escalation.
• Create and implement procedures and training techniques to help reduce follow-up time, and potential errors.
• Maintain compliance-related disposition records that are accurate, complete, and fulfill legal requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Verify and ensure that all social media issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Review staff and attorney candidates’ social media accounts as an important step in our due diligence screening.
• Ensure the process is consistent for all candidates, and compliant with firm policy and legal requirements.

Requirements

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion a must.
• Working knowledge of various software packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong administrative and computer skills, and knowledge of social media platforms and internet search processes.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in background check screening or related compliance field a plus.
